OLUBUNMI SARUMI AND IFEOLUWA SARUMI

Our story is one of love and history. The co-founder, Olubunmi Sarumi's mother was a seamstress who learnt how to make tie and dye fabrics then taught her daughter the art of sewing when she was a child. However unfortunately, her family forbade her from learning because she was a girl-child. Despite this set back she continued to channel her love for African textiles and fabrics

Today, that love for textiles and sewing has led Olubunmi to repurposing Aso-oke into bespoke items; such as cushions and treasures.

Olubunmi and her daughter Ifeoluwa are on a mission to empower women by giving them the opportunity to earn as they create unique handcrafted soft furnishings for your home.

This is a timeless and conscious brand for the quintessentially intentional customer.
